I have black raspberry vanilla in my NEW Scentsy warmer right now and it smells like a little bit of heaven.

bringing back memories

This is my lil handsome nephew Brett. The clothes he is wearing and the toy he is playing with bring back LOTS of memories for me. The clothes were once worn & the toy was once played with by my son, who will be 7 shortly. I got to watch him on Tuesday night and it was such a joy! I love his little giggles!!!

Monday, we had to go to Target to get my son some new boots for a couple reasons. And wouldnt ya know....we are upto a size FOUR now! Just a mere 2 months ago I bought a size 3 for him! :eek:

an obsession?

My child likes trains. .......NO, he is obsessed with them.
First the movies...then the toys....now this?
A gingerbread train!? I didnt even know they made these kinds of kits!
Well, he got one for Christmas from his uncle and he was beyond thrilled!!!
So, over the course of the weekend we attempted to put this thing together.
Not too bad, huh?

Its sitting next to our gingerbread house.
Pretty soon we'll have a gingerbread village! ha.

pure luck?

I checked my emailed today and found something out of the ordinary - an email from Layle Koncar from Scenic Route! Unbelievable!!! I had entered a layout for the December Product Challenge and was chosen as one of the winners! Is this pure luck? I keep going back go the Scenic Route website to make sure that my name is REALLY there.

nice & soothing

Hot cheddar potato soup, with ham. Yummy!
It was nice and soothing. My throat has been all scratchy lately, so I figured a nice home cooked meal would help me feel better. It sure has!!!

This candle burning sums up my day. We had a small fire in our apartment building today - luckily, it was contained to just the dryer. However, the smell is still lingering around our complex many hours later. This candle burning helps to cover up the smoke smell.
